It's A ................

......baby! Made you look! :) I shared recently with some of you that I thought they may do an ultrasound at my OB appointment today since they did one at my last one and that I might possibly get to find out if it's a boy or a girl today. My doctor just listened to the heartbeat, which is always neat, but since this is my third baby sadly I'm kind of over that "thrill". Everything was normal including my blood pressure. I did gain 2 pounds since last month which I totally blame on last night. We had a fellowship/worship event for Children's Ministry and there was a TON of yummy goodies. So now I've gained 5 of the 10-15 pounds that my doctor wants me to gain total. Grrrr. I'll just have to be good and keep the sweets out of the house and get back to snacking on veggies and fruit. :) Now I just have to be patient until a week from Wednesday.

Things I Can't Believe I Say

I have found myself saying things lately to the boys that after the words leave my mouth, I think "I can't believe I just said that". Here are some examples:

"Stop Swiffering your brother."
"Are you biting his butt?"
"We don't eat sand (or rocks or dirt or grass)."
"The electrical cord to the vacuum is not a toy."
"Get your hand out of the toilet."
"Boys don't wear makeup."

I love my boys!

A Little Surprise

We just got back from our first Friday outing at A Little Surprise. They have an indoor playroom for kids with slides, cars, play kitchen and grocery store, t-ball, and a toddler area. I don't have pictures, but I'm hoping Monica will post some on her blog. :) My boys and I had a blast and I'm so glad that Monica and her kids could join us. I have never been there before. They now have monthly memberships and have lowered their prices for under 3s. I will definitely be looking into getting a monthly membership next summer. I've learned that my boys need to run around - a lot. Johnny was so cute pushing around a baby doll in her stroller while carrying a basket of groceries over his arm. I think he was imitating Mama. Jacob liked carrying around baby dolls too. Maybe they're getting ready for a little sister. :) Johnny knew how to put the ball on the t-ball stand, but he held the bat upside down when he swung it. I just love watching them play in new environments and seeing what they do.

Next Friday I'll be babysitting for a friend. The Friday after that (9/26) we'll be going to Berean for story time at 10:30 over on 75th and Bell. I've never been there for story time, so I'm excited to see what it's like.

Patriotic License Plate Holder

I saw a neat license plate holder today. It read:

Land of the Free
Because of the Brave

Baby Appointment

I had my 2nd OB appointment. Everything is normal. They did another ultrasound which seemed weird to me. For my last two pregnancies they only did one at the 1st appointment and then after that they would just listen to the heart and measure. She/he was really active. I won't post the pictures because they didn't come out too clear. It was cute to see his/her little hands waving around. I know it's too early but I feel like sometimes I can feel her/him moving already. :)
